HUMBLE PIE

OK, I will admit I am not perfect. I make my share of mistakes.
The truth be known, I make more than my share of mistakes.
Most of the time no one says anything and I let out a big sigh.
I have already kicked myself so I am glad not to feel the heat!
However, on occasion, someone will remind me of my human err.
That is when it is time to eat Humble Pie. No need to excuse
yourself because your apology is what is needed. Yes, no doubt,
there are a million excuses. I like to blame computer gremlins.
Your sincere and humble apology should suffice for most mishaps.
There will be some who demand more. They cannot usually specify
what it would take to appease them. If we are not talking refunds or
merchandise replacement, it is likely there is nothing specific to add.
Just say you are sorry and promise to do better. Eat Humble Pie!
